The Origin of FloWeRAP

FloWeRAP is the rebirth of the traditional Japanese furoshiki cloth. The Japanese used furoshiki for various purposes: initially, they used it to carry clothes and other items (like a bag), and later, they started using it to wrap their gifts. With Japan's westernization, furoshiki fell out of everyday fashion, but in recent times, modern patterned cloths are gaining ground, as they are reusable and create visually pleasing results. FloWeRAP was specifically designed as a gift wrapping cloth to conquer the world of environmentally conscious people with its beautiful and fragrant flowers.

What Can We Use It For?

floWeRAP is a gift wrapping cloth. Its size is 70x70cm, which is ideal for wrapping medium-sized boxes (mostly cubes or round boxes), larger books, and wine bottles. Depending on your taste, you can choose the flower to form on top of the gift. And the good news is that with a little practice, you can master the essential knotting techniques. If you're not satisfied with the first result, you can re-tie the knot at any time without material waste or creating waste! And here's another great piece of news: compared to traditional wrapping paper, it takes significantly less time to tie the cloth, and fewer materials are needed. All you need is the cloth, and you're good to go! If you'd like to learn the techniques, click here for instructional videos!

Usage Guidelines

The first generation of floWeRAP is made of 100% polyester, and it was manufactured in Japan. We are currently working on making it 100% recycled PET in the future, produced within the EU territory. The currently available cloths can be washed at 40°C, but you should not bleach or machine dry them. You can iron them at a low to medium temperature to make the cloth look impeccable! If you're not using it, fold it into four after cleaning and ironing, and you can store it in a dry, clean drawer or box.
